About us

Sustainability

In everything we do at Qlosr, and for our customers and in our neighbourhood, we want to contribute to a better world. This means taking on significant responsibilities, but it also brings great opportunities. Here you can read more about our sustainability work, driven by our commitment and values, consistent with our ISO work.

Overall vision
Qlosr’s overall vision is to have an integrated sustainability approach in everything we do. The sustainability work is characterised by constantly increasing our social responsibility and contributing to a better world. This increases our competitiveness, customer loyalty, and investor interest.

Our sustainability work contributes to retaining skills and attracting new talent by being supportive and providing freedom under responsibility, where everyone’s contribution counts.

As the sustainable life cycle perspective is built into the business model, the climate impact is reduced as successfully as our growth is enhanced. By integrating acquired companies into our sustainability work, our acquisitions are considered climate-positive and contribute to the climate transition.

Sustainability policy

Sustainability is a fundamental and guiding principle for all the activities of Qlosr.

Qlosr is strongly committed to contributing to sustainable development, taking into account economic, ecological, and social aspects. We believe that transparency around sustainability work is an important basic principle. Qlosr seeks dialogue with various stakeholders to develop ways of operating and set relevant priorities. We demand the same transparency from our suppliers and subcontractors. Qlosr’s Code of Conduct forms the basis for the Group’s sustainability work.

Qlosr shall:

  • Develop together with the communities in which the company operates.
  • Be an inclusive employer that embraces diversity, where employees reach their full potential.
  • Conduct operations so as to minimise the impact on people, the environment, and property, and in a manner at least equivalent to the requirements set by applicable legislation.
  • Work for increased resource efficiency both in our own business and through the company’s products and services.
  • Evaluate the environmental impact of the company’s products at different stages of their life cycle and also involve suppliers and customers in this process.
  • Promote the use of appropriate and recognised environmental management standards.
  • Follow up on outcomes and continuously revise targets to reduce the company’s environmental and climate impact.
  • Adopt a long-term perspective in our efforts. A prerequisite for this is the company’s profitability.
  • Work with ongoing improvements and skills development of employees to achieve the company’s goals and long-term strategy.

Sustainability strategy

Successful sustainability work needs to be based on a sustainability strategy. This strategy should take the wider world into account. The ecosystem map can be divided into three worlds: the inner world, which consists of our organisation; the near world, which consists of the platform on which we operate, such as customers and suppliers; and the surrounding world, which consists of the society outside that Qlosr cannot typically control.

From a sustainability perspective, the surrounding world is permeated by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The near world consists of market, customer, and supplier requirements. The inner world consists of policies, structural capital, and certificates.

Global goals

There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which in turn are divided into sub-goals. A company can rarely, in a beneficial way, work on all 17 goals simultaneously. Therefore, the most relevant areas are selected for the activities carried out.

At Qlosr, we have chosen to focus on 5 of the 17 global goals.

(4) Quality education, (5) Gender equality, (8) Decent work and economic growth, (12) Responsible consumption and production, (13) Climate action.

Industry-standard certificates

Qlosr currently has a certified structural capital in quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), information security (ISO 27001), and work environment (ISO 45001). This forms the basis for how we systematically integrate sustainability into everything we do.

Group-wide policies

Qlosr use policies that constitute guidelines and regulations for how the company should act in different situations and areas. We can also provide guidance for decision-making and governance.

In the framework of sustainability, Qlosr applies the following policies:

  • Code of conduct
  • Values
  • Anti-corruption policy
  • Health and safety policy
  • Equal treatment plan
  • Supplier policy
  • Chemicals management policy
  • Policy on conflict minerals
  • Policy on community involvement

Community involvement

For us, it is a given to contribute to positive social development and to protect the local area where we operate. Therefore, we are locally involved and support numerous sports clubs, such as Önnered HK (handball) in Gothenburg, Swedish Tennis Academy in Malmö, and Villa Lidköping BK (bandy) in Skara. Together with Södertälje SK, which we have supported for nearly ten years, we have created a digital planning tool for Swedish hockey clubs. We also make an annual donation to Stockholms Stadsmission.
